Over the past few months, Eva and I have had the pleasure of working with the fun and clever EEME hands-on electronics kits for kids. We’ve built some pretty cool projects and learned a ton about circuitry, resistors, breadboards, LEDs and more. The kits, which arrive in the mail once each month, are a highlight for us; we look forward to working through each project with the assistance of the ever-helpful Jack Pien, who teaches us both the how-tos and the science behind it all through associated YouTube videos.
The company, founded and run by Pien himself, has already received quite a bit of notice, winning the Maker Faire’s Editor’s Choice award and being included in the Wall Street Journal’s “Top Picks for Kids.” It’s affordable, high quality, easy to understand, and is open for further child-driven exploration. How could it get any better?
I’ll tell you how: several weeks ago, after reading my rave review of the EEME kits, Jack contacted me with a proposal to give my readers a special deal. If you’re interested in working with EEME, as a STEAM-Powered Classroom reader, Jack will offer you a special bulk-purchase deal (all five lessons at once) that’s 20% off the monthly subscription price. Don’t worry if you aren’t ready quite yet; there’s a new EEME button on the right side of my webpage now that you can access anytime.
I know affiliate offers are pretty common on websites and blogs, and this of course falls under that category. But this is new endeavor for both EEME and STEAM-Powered Classroom, and it’s been super fun connecting with Jack, talking education, and creating this great opportunity together. I love Jack’s approach and what he has to offer, and I look forward to seeing what all he comes up with to expand his offerings. I’m proud to EEME’s inaugural affiliate! Be sure to let me know what you think.
